Noodles & Company

Photo of noodle dishHealthy, fast, and family friendly, Noodles & Company fits the bill when you and your dining companions can’t quite agree on the kind of cuisine you want.

That’s because this new face on the fast-food strip lets you choose from Asian, Mediterranean (Italian), and American noodle-based classics that can be “customized” or made to order with your choice of chicken, shrimp, beef, or tofu, along with a variety of veggies. Not surprisingly, the dishes with the lowest calories and fat are on the Asian section of the menu.

Lower-calorie, lower-fat main courses include Japanese Pan Noodles, Pad Thai, Bangkok Curry, and Indonesian Peanut Sauté. These can be paired with healthy sides that include a tossed green salad, Thai Curry, or Chicken Noodle Soup, as well as a Caesar or Cucumber Tomato Side Salad.

Higher calorie and fat dishes include Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, Mushroom Stroganoff, Buttered Noodles, Penne Rosa, Pesto Cavatappi, and Tomato Basil Bisque.

Opt for the fresh-brewed organic iced tea for a zero-calorie beverage choice.
